Memory Bear

In Grief and Loss we seek a way to stay connected to the individual that has died. The Memory Bears are a way to do this.  We refer to them as Linking Objects. Memory Bears are something a family can have made from a loved ones clothing, blanket or any special material and take it home so they can enjoy it everyday. Memory Bears were introduced to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, Inc. in 2010. Each memory bear is made with a rose quartz stone as the heart for the bears, this makes these bears very special. Volunteers have been making the memory bears as part of the bereavement program. If you are interested in having a memory bear symbolizing
your loved one please contact the Hospice office at (580) 762-9102 or 1-800-814-9102.
