CURRENT JOB OPENINGS:
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
*Master's degree in health care administration or other field of medicine, business administration or equivalent experience
*Minimum of 3-year's experience managing a hospice or home care agency
*Experience managing a minimum of 20 employees
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor's degree in health care administration or other health care profession, business administration or related medical field
*Management experience: able to engage and empower staff, experience working with volunteers and a governing board, knowledge of facility management including upkeep, repair and rental of space
*Experience working under and understanding local, state and federal hospice and palliative care regulations and mandates as well as other health care and labor related laws
*Experience in marketing, fundraising and endowment activities
*Strong communication and leadership skills
*Knowledge of accounting principles and money management as well as the ability to assist in preparation and oversight of a viable budget
*Background in program growth and development
*Philosophy compatible with the hospice and palliative care concept
*Experience in fostering good working relations with the medical community and non-medical community agencies
