- LPN Nurse will complete referrals, discharges, death, triage, patient care and follow up with phone calls of all required documentation within the scope of practice. Will provide patient care with focus on patient comfort and pain and symptom management.
- Provides documentation of care through timely charting in the electronic medical record and update care plans as necessary.
- Initiates communication with attending physicians, other hospice staff members, and other agencies as needed to coordinate optimal care and use of resources for the patient/family.
- Obtains data on physical, psychological, social, and spiritual factors that may influence patient/family health status and incorporate that data into the plan of care and reports to family services/chaplain when appropriate.
- Maintains up-to-date charting so that problems, plans, actions, and goals are accurately and clearly stated and changes are reflected as they occur. Documents care and services within a time frame consistent with agency policy.
- Seeks input from other interdisciplinary group members regarding the patient plan of care to obtain additional knowledge.
- Attends interdisciplinary group meetings and is involved in discussion of patient care for full staff discussion, consultation, and evaluation.
- Provides appropriate support to families and caregivers at the time of death and period of bereavement. Within scope of practice, the LPN nurse will assist with after death needs of patient family, including calling funeral home or other personnel and completion of documentation.
- Assesses, manages and administers patient’s medications following Policy and procedures of HNCO.
- Maintains a cooperative working relationship with other personnel involved In providing care to hospice patients.

· Research, create, oversee, implement and evaluate a comprehensive development strategy for the organization incorporating an array of fundraising approaches, including but not limited to:
· Develop and monitor revenue projections and expense budgets for fundraising activities.
· Develop a strategic marketing plan and oversee implementation. This includes, but not limited to, identifying and connecting with referral sources; making personal phone calls to and visits with donors and potential donors; creating, publishing, and distributing brochures; presenting programs; coordinating educational programs/in-services for the community; and advertising/promotional activities.
· Promote hospice through articles in newspaper, social media outlets and other promotional opportunities as they arise.
Event Center:
· Develop and implement annual marketing and advertising strategy for Event Center.
· Respond to requests for event space information as needed. Define client’s needs and ensure facility’s availability and resources are able to meet client’s needs. Communicate the services that will be provided and the related costs. Complete forms and contracts.
· Supervise the Event Center Technician, overseeing the following functions:
1. Initiate and maintain communication with clients to assist in planning and coordinating events. Inform customers of CREC basic policies and procedures concerning services and equipment, which are provided per their contract as well as the additional services for which they will be charged.
2. Understand and inform customers of applicable building policies, codes, and laws of the state such as fire marshal requirements, etc.
3. Coordinate physical set-up requirements and service needs by preparing a written function sheet work order detailing the customer’s requirements, which includes the rented space, equipment, services, and personnel. This function sheet clearly depicts client’s needs and is distributed to key departments in a timely fashion to ensure the time for proper planning.
4. Act as a liaison to outside service contractors to include security, food service, decorating and drayage, audio visual, parking lots and hotels. Coordinating outside supplier’s logistical needs, create event production timelines, coordinating the interfacing of each supplier activities to meet customer and facility requirements.
5. Review event orders submitted by sub-contractors to ensure all details are correct. This includes food and beverage, audio visual in-house contractors, decorator logistical plans and security. Confirm that space and in-house contractor staffing levels are as defined on the schedules.

7. Create invoice/settlement sheet itemizing all billable expenses and applicable revenues.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The CEO has primary responsibility for all aspects of Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, Inc. operations, utilizing effective and efficient use of all resources in carrying out the organization's goals, objectives, and policies established by the Board; to serve as a liaison between Board, staff, and community; to manage the affairs of the agency with full authority under the direction of the Board and within the Board policies, program definition, and approved budget.
Additional duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Assume responsibility for the overall management of the agency.
- Manage programs by delegating responsibility to department heads according to their defined responsibilities.
- Monitor compliance with agency-approved budget.
- Oversee the development and implementation of financial policies.
- Establish functions and qualifications for all personnel in collaboration with HR and input from department heads.
- Determine staffing needs according to program requirements and with consideration for utilization of personnel at their maximum potential.
- Inform Board of program activities through periodic written and verbal reports.
- Present policy, program proposals, and recommendations to the Board of Directors for action.
- Oversee a public relations program that fosters good working relations with physicians and community agencies.
- Represent Hospice of North Central Oklahoma to the community as requested.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in health care administration or other field of medicine, business administration, or equivalent experience preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience managing a hospice or home care agency is preferred.
- Experience managing or supervising a minimum of 20 employees is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing, or Business Administration required.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience required.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal hospice and palliative care regulations is essential.
- Must possess experience in marketing, fundraising, and endowment activities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills are required.
- Working experience in accounting principles, finance, budgeting, and oversight is critical.
- Philosophy compatible with the hospice and palliative care concept is essential.
- Experience fostering good working relations with medical and non-medical community agencies.
